Directions

In a small bowl, whisk together the vinegar and mustard. Whisk in the walnut oil, drop by drop. Season the vinaigrette with salt and pepper. If acid is needed, add lemon juice. If more oil needed, add olive oil.

Tear the greens into large bite-size pieces in a flat bowl. Add the nuts and dill. Just before serving, add only enough dressing to coat lightly when tossed. Toss and serve.

I thought the recipe was very good--my wife thought it was excellent. I added halved seedless grapes and a sprinkle of feta cheese on the top. Delightful light salad that would appeal to a lot of individuals. Certainly only minutes to prepare.

This is a simple healthy and delicious salad that impresses. I made this for my husband and I, and he felt quite special. It only takes a couple of minutes to whip up the dressing. I used red wine vinegar the first time, and the second time I used a champagne vinegar. I love the show and this is my first recipe to try.
