    This is my best vegetable soup till date and is easy to prepare. I had it without the pesto and loved it.

    Simple, healthy and delicious. I added asparagus to mine because I had it on hand. Don't skip the pesto, it really makes this soup extra delicious.

    Tres bien!! Not only was this an easy recipe to make but it turned out so delicious!! My sister dislikes green beans however she said she didn't even notice them since it was layered with so many flavours. I am actually enjoying a nice serving of it right now!

    This is an amazingly, ridiculously delicious soup! My two boys, aged 11 and 9, said it was "awesome." The only changes I made were that I used leeks instead of onions, dried thyme instead of fresh and canned garbanzo beans instead of white kidney (cannellini beans. All the veggies I used were fresh, I used canned veggie broth, and I made the pesto fresh at the last minute. Please make fresh pesto! It makes a world of difference. Seeing my children and husband (all notorious veggie avoiders eat every last drop of this was nothing short of astounding. Thank you so much, Laura, for sharing this incredibly simple, yet fabulously fresh and delicious soup!

    It's delicious! I've been sick all weekend, and it's been just the best thing for what ails me .. light, tasty, easy to make, nothing to it really .. and comforting and good. I followed the recipe exactly. Really nice soup.

    This makes a tasty, healthy vegetable soup. I added four cloves of minced garlic to the onions toward the end of the saute time, and I used two bay leaves instead of one. The soup just smells so good while it's cooking--this is comfort food that isn't fattening.
