My shrimp were'nt large enough to cut in half (16-20ct, so I cleaned them & marinated in garlic, basil, & olive oil as in the recipe. I just quickly sautéed them in a skillet. The flavors were great together. We eat lots of shrimp, & this was a great change of pace from my usual fried, boiled, or N.O. BBQ shrimp. If you can, try to use wild gulf shrimp instead of the farm-raised Asian tiger shrimp. I really enjoy Laura's recipes.

IsaBoe, I sincerely hope you prepared this meal for your husband because it is absolutely wonderful!!! Didn't have "giant" shrimp so used normal shrimp and it was great. Will prepare this again and again.
