I thought this was great! I too got a mug o' mud the first time I made it. I still ate it though! The second time around I used 1 spoonful of pudding for the first mix in and then 1.5 spoonfulls pudding for the second min. It came out perfect! I put toasted walnuts on my to get my "Flat Belly MUFA" YumYumYumYum :
Used sugarfree cheesecake flavored pudding the second time, and it was great!

Both times I made this, I came up with a mug'o'mud - very unappealing, cake rose a bit in the first minute in the microwave, but when I added the rest of the pudding, I had to break up the cake and was left with goop. The second time, I decreased the cooking power with the same result. What am I doing wrong?

OMG this was so good. My only problem was eating it while it was TOO HOT and I'd blow on it, eat the edges, because I just couldn't stop.
The next night I made one also for my husband, and let it cool before I gave it to him. He gobbled it up and he doesn't like rich chocolate.
Thank you Hungry Girl

Wow is this recipe delicious, was not too sure about it at first but gave it a try. I didn't have any fat free hot cocoa or pudding, just the regular kind. But I bought the egg beaters and regular chocolate chips and the cake mix. Was really simple to make. And I could not believe how good it tasted, my husband and I loved it. And he's really picky. Will be making it again.
