We didn't have cranberry sauce at Thanksgiving...difficult to get in Colombia. I found this recipe on line and I had all the ingredients. I substituted fresh choped ginger for the black pepper. It was delicious and went very well with the turkey!! It was just exactly what I was looking for. Thank you!

Unlike the other review I did not find this at all wet, it was lovely thick and I had no problem with it, I make it at Christmas by exchanging the blackberries for cranberries. This mornings batch as always has turned out well. It is a family favourite.

I added ginger, but this recipe was VERY wet and refused to thicken without a great deal more cooking time and pureeing part of the batch.
On the other hand it was Extremely delicious. I made paninis with brie, chutney, baby spinach, and sliced roast turkey.
