These look magnificent! I cannot wait to make them at home. Madeleines are my absolute favorite cookie! (I realize they are more like a cake, but I'll say cookie. I LOVE Rachel Khoo. I am a Francophile from a young age and she is not only fun and charming to watch, but she shares with the viewer her love of Paris and dispels some of those nasty French stereotypes. Cooking Channel, PLEASE keep Rachel Khoo ... maybe replace a Rachel Ray show with hers. Yes, that would work for me!

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE RACHEL KHOO! I hope the Cooking Channel keeps and expands her show. She is very easy to relate to, and very down to earth. No pretentiousness like some chefs. For a novice cook/baker like me, I am usually intimidated with what some high fallutin' chefs make. Rachel is the first chef I've seen and I went, "Huh. I think I can do that recipe."
I tried Rachel Khoo's madeleine with lemon curd. It was heavenly! It was easy to do. Success! Be warned: The lemon curd had to be continually whisked over stove top lest it burns. Get that arm work out! =
I also tried her poulet de Bourgogne. It turned out great! I can't wait to try the rest of her recipes!

I agree with marthanyounger, I LOVE the simplicity of her recipes. Made this and just drooled near the oven waiting for them. Oh and I didn't have raspberries on hand, so I used blueberries, they were still delish!
