These cookies look amazing -- but I haven't made them yet -- so I rated them based on what I think they may be like.

Question: The instructions are excellent if you have a Kitchen Aid mixer. But many of us do not.

I grew up in the 60's making cookies by creaming the butter & sugar with a hand pastry blender that was cresent-shaped -- with a handle on the top and metal blades on the bottom. I'm thinking that all cookies, including these, can be made with this simple equipment, right?

Also, most of us cannot buy Meyer lemons. I would think that a combo of regular lemon zest plus orange zest would work.

I'd like to hear responses from Cooking Channel and viewers about this. Thanks!

This was an amazing tasting recipe. Although it sank and we ended up adding a 1/4 cup of flour, and it worked perfectly, I have also done this recipe with orange zest instead of lemon. DELICIOUS!!

I just recently discovered cardamom & I love it. These cookies taste great & the directions were easy to follow. My only trouble was rolling the cookies because they were very sticky. I ended up just scooping & dropping them into the powdered sugar then tossing the bowl to coat them. The end result is a very scrumptious & soft cookie. Thank you Joanne
