    No he did not put sugar in the custard. He put sugar in his greens after adding the vingar. In the custard he added honey. AWSOME dish. Every time the same. Also the salt is very important.

    I distinctly remember Michael chopping the bread and toasting in the oven during this episode, so now I'm confused as I begin to prepare this pudding.

    I thought there should have been sugar in the receipe and that it was very dry.
    Maybe it soaked to long long? Sorry!
