  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Line baking sheets with parchment paper. 
  2. Sift together the flour, baking soda and salt. 
  3. In the mixing bowl of a stand mixer with the paddle attachment, cream the butter with the sugar. Add the molasses and eggs and mix thoroughly. Add the spices and sifted flour mixture and stir only until well combined. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto the prepared baking sheets and bake for 9 to 11 minutes, turning the baking sheets after about 6 minutes for even baking.
