Made this today. Wow it's rich, have to eat small pieces at a time. It's also huge, too tall to fit in my cake holder. I didn't let the cake cool COMPLETELY before i assembled and frosted it so i had a little bit of sliding of the top layer. Love the flavor combo, we'll make this again.

This cake was unique! I loved how all the flavours combined well together. I followed the recipe exactly as written, and baked the layers the night before. The next day all I did was assemble and whip up the frosting. Not only does that cut time, but it creates a rich and flavourful cake!

This cake was delicious. The cake was had a wonderful light banana taste, that was kicked up with the pecans and chocolate chips. The nutella as a filling and the whipped cream cheese frosting was the icing on the cake. This recipe is a keeper. My husband, children and neighbors loved it.

I was disappointed also. I liked the banana bread, but it would've preferred it closer to the density of a cake. This cake was good, but not something that I would make again.

Very moist and very good! Makes a huge cake though. I agree with previous review about making into 2 cakes by freezing 1/2 for later. Husband and I both took some to work to share and everyone enjoyed. It's like a moist banana bread with chocolate and icing, I opted to leave out the nuts. This is now on my list of favorite deserts!

This cake was amazing! I read all the reviews first and decided to make it a 2 layer 8" cake instead. It turned out the perfect size. I was a little disappointed with the frosting though. It was too "cool whippy" for me. I would have preferred a richer, thicker frosting for this cake. Other than that...I will definitely make it again!

Doubling the frosting recipe a must. The baking time of 45 minutes to 60 was off for my oven. Cake should of been taken out at 40. I thought I was safe checking at 45 therefore cake was a bit dry. To correct I added a good splash of Frangelico between layers (underneath the Nutella. Great tasting cake!

This is a huge cake & I also had to double the frosting amount but decided next time would make 4 layers rather than 3 & freeze 2 for later & make a smaller version. This cake has all the ingredients I love & is absolutely awesome.
