Great dessert. My son is a bacon freak and really injoyed this dessert. The sweet and heat worked well together.

Loved the mix of sweet, salty, and heat. I substituted turkey bacon coated with brown sugar and baked on my Silpat. I coated the apples with a combo of a strong rum, maple syrup and a bit of brown sugar. I share this recipe and will make this again.

I decided that i would surprise my hubby with this dish and he LOVED it! true to what Nadia said...it was sweet, salty and just so very delicious!...i cant wait to make it again!
