    I make this soup all the time. My little one loves it. I do not use Canadian bacon, I use real bacon. I sometimes add a little more Carrot and Celery for a little more heartyness. I also use a mix of Cannelli beans and Great Northern sometimes. The Canneli beans are not available at Wally world. I also only use canned Petite diced tomatoes. Tonight I only had 1 can of beans so I added a little Ricotta for some texture. This is one of the recipes that I will make for a lifetime.

    After watching the episode and reading the reviews and seeing the delicious looking picture, I was excited to make this dish. Unfortunately, it did not live up to its expectations. I found it to have a strange taste and the broth tasted flat..there was something missing, I just couldn't figure out what? It also wasn't as hearty as I thought it was going to be. I followed directions exactly so, I'm not sure what I did wrong. I won't be making this dish again. :(

    I just made this for dinner. This Paste Fazul was great. The cheese and the basil was what really made the soup tasty. I didn't have any dried rosemary but it was still good without it. This recipe is a keeper.

    Watched your show for the first time LOVE IT!!! Pasta fazul recipe soooo. Easy and delicious o gave it to my mom and sis they both made it and LOVED IT ...keep doing the show I'll keep watching
