TSAKETA! I consider myself a bit of a shepherd's pie expert and this recipe is definately in my top 2! I made it with ground turkey (we don't eat red meat so I had to kick up the measurments for the seasoning by a bit to make sure all the flavor came through. A word to the wise -- use the biggest skillet you have to cook the meat. 2 lbs of meat is a lot more than you think...and can make a bit of a mess on your stove top. Definately try this one out -- it's Bitchin'

I'm vegetarian and made this last night with a vegan twist. I made the following changes and it turned out FABULOUS. I used a almond milk, vegan margarine, and vegi meat frozen crumble. This dish will become a standard for me. It looks great for presentation. Who would have thought mixing potato an sweet potato would work. Well it did and don't forget to put the potato chips on top it makes the dish incredible. You have elevated this simple dish to 'Rock Star" Status.

Fabulous! Very easy and the flavours were totally worth it. Slightly sweet from the corn and yams. Smoky - I could almost imagine bacon (that wasn't there, from the paprika. I used "normal" cayenne as I couldn't find smoked.

OK, I'm not that great of a cook, but I made this and it was really good, and not too difficult to make. The sweet potatoes were great mixed with the russet potatoes, but it was the creamed corn that made it truly wonderful.

This dish is delicious! The sweet potatoes really give it great texture and flavor. I brought this to a party and everyone said it was THE best sheperd's pie they every ate, and I have to agree!
