So good, like dessert in a cup! There is nothing like real hot cocoa. Although I'm not a rum girl, but an Amaretto girl. Like I said, soooo good. I have even made it using stevia (I'm a diabetic and it's still wonderful.

This was delicious. I have been looking for a hot chocolate recipe that is not too sweet, and this recipe was it. The rum in the hot chocolate was amazing, although I did add three more tablespoons, and an additional teaspoon of brown sugar. The brown sugar added a depth to the drink, as opposed to plain white sugar. The cinnamon stick was also a nice touch. I used half bittersweet (70% and half semi-sweet Guittard chocolate. The quality of good chocolate shines through, and it was amazing. Finished it off with some whipped cream on top, and my husband was in heaven! Nigella Lawson is amazing, I have all her cookbooks, and I do think she is a domestic goddess!
