Excellent recipe, definitely a bonus for those of us who don't live close enough to Red Fish Blue Fish to buy it there more often. I cut back somewhat on the amount of chipotle, hot sauce, and garlic, because it seemed the recipe proportions would make it too spicy for my taste, and I think it turned out great - very close to what we had in VIctoria because we could still taste the wonderful flavors, and not just a burn. Thank you!

Excellent, almost as good as picking it up on the pier. I make the soup without fish. Then just before mealtime I heat whatever quantity I want for that meal and add the fish to it and cook until just opaque. I have also used the base with chicken.

Where is the Fish? No fish in the ingredients list nor any mention of fish in the directions. I wonder what else is missing from this recipe. Sounds good otherwise.
