Good flavor and looked very pretty and holiday festive.. mine ended up being a little on the the large size and ended up being more on the soft side than crunchy on the outside. Other than that a nice holiday cookie to bring to a party ( they looked very pretty too!

the flavor, of course the most important component, was great. i feared overwhelming peppermint but not at all. if you follow the recipe they come out just like the photo. crunchy on the outside, and dare i say it, fudgey on the inside. i chilled my dough overnight as opposed to just a few hours. you rally need to fully chill it. the dough is extremely thin for cookies.

These cookies came out perfect the first time. I did chill the dough in the freezer for 45min.. Make the balls a little smaller than a walnut. Press on centers for doneness, if it gives bake a few minutes longer until set. Very, very good cookie, and they look great too!

Pros: Nice flavour, chewy cookie
Cons: Must cook longer than recipe calls for, end up with a very fragile cookie out of the oven. Doesn't go puffy like pic, it's flat.
Flavour isn't worth doing this one again. And let cool significantly before you remove it from the sheet, else it's going to curl up on you. Approach with caution.
