Definitely for mature palates - not too sweet and very tangy, like strawberry greek yogurt - and absolutely delicious. Loved that this was egg-free so I didn't have to worry about accidentally scrambling eggs or agonize that they wouldn't be fully cooked. The extra strawberry puree can be frozen and used in smoothies.

delicious flavor. loved the sweet, tangy taste. didn't setup as well as I had hoped, but that may have been the ice cream maker (cuisinart rather than the recipe. Will definitely make this again. One additional comment...the strawberry puree makes much more than the recipe calls for.
