I stuck pretty much to the recipe, as it was written, except added some finely chopped salad shrimp. Don't know why, but I had no problems with the patties falling apart. I did however tightly compact them as I was forming them into cakes. Pretty good, and EZ to make. We'll do them again.

Not bad, but they totally fall apart. I even added egg and it still fell apart. Not sure if I would make them again.

I've made salmon patties too many years not to add a binder. I added one egg, substituted Liquid Aminos seasoning for the soy sauce and accidentally doubled the horseradish sauce (from quickly writing it down as it aired, but it was delicious! Coming from the south, salmon patties are a staple and I've only been moderately happy with the recipes I've tried before this. I also put in mini processor 2 Romano tomatoes, pinch of garlic power, 1 tbs. horseradish sauce, 2 tbs. cottage cheese - s&p to taste - until smooth. It was a great topper sauce for the patties. Yum! I've made this twice and will make it again.
