I made this recipe after watching the episode this past weekend ~ I needed a nice lenten recipe.
I doubled the recipe as it was for dinner and we were having company in from out of town~ This dish was spactacular !!!!
It was my 1st time ever making clam chowder ~ it was a huge hit and will be my go to clam chowder recipe !

We made this last night and it was DELICIOUS! We used fresh clams - followed the recipe to a tee. The flavor of the clams really shines (as they should in clam chowder. The simple uncomplicated ingredients are a perfect balance of flavor and texture. We'll be making this again for sure!

This has now made it in to my dinner rotation. I did leave out the clams because well, one they are clams (EW , and two I live in the corn belt, so now it has simply become corn chowder. Very good and very quick for a night you don't feel much like cooking. YUM!
