    this recipe is great. We served this at a concession stand for Little League and couldn't make them fast enough. We started making 20. the next time we made 85 and still sold out.

    What a great recipe! It was a little like making a gourmet Italian version of sloppy joes. My family loved it with and without the bun.

    This was a great recipe. My husband and kids, including my 3 year old, ate it up. I sprinkled parmesan cheese on their rolls to be more kid friendly and didn't add the red pepper. I did a few things different since I didn't have some ingredients on hand. I used Beef Stock instead of wine..... but I bet it would be better with the wine. I also didn't have enough peppers but I had roasted red peppers in the pantry I added some to make up for not having enough. I also used 1/2 chipotle sausage and 1/2 sweet sausage. I will make this again. Yummy!

    These were fabulous, I cooked them last weekend for my wife and I, she loved them. I am putting this together for tailgating at the Patriots-Denver Playoff Game, should be a hit. I used a sweet italian sausage last week and planning on the hot sausage for alittle more pop.
