I made these last night and refrigerated them, thinking that the consistency would be that of regular rum balls. I did add more rum than the recipe called for.
I rolled mine in coconut and confectioners sugar for a variation. Try adding pecans or walnuts to this recipe. They are great!!!
WELL, these are delicious! Kudos Chrisy and John! Hopeully, some will be left for guests!

very nice flavor not real strong. I rolled them in powdered sugar instead of granulated which was very quick.I had lots of complements from the family

I hosted my own Cookies n Cocktails last week and the rum balls were a hit. Rolled them in different colored sugars: red, green, white, silver and gold. My guests ate them up and renamed them "Jingle Balls." That may be because i added a 1/2 cup of rum instead of 1/4 cup.
