Again, different recipe than the one from before. These were much more bitter on the finish. I added extra rum (3/4 cup!) and they held it well without being too wet. I'm not sure the ginger is the best. Maybe I need to try fresh grated ginger next time. I will make these again but I need to play with the flavor a bit. Everyone LOVED them when I did them 2 yrs ago.

I made these last night and refrigerated them, thinking that the consistency would be that of regular rum balls. I did add more rum than the recipe called for.

I rolled mine in coconut and confectioners sugar for a variation. Try adding pecans or walnuts to this recipe. They are great!!!

WELL, these are delicious! Kudos Chrisy and John! Hopeully, some will be left for guests!

very nice flavor not real strong. I rolled them in powdered sugar instead of granulated which was very quick.I had lots of complements from the family

I hosted my own Cookies n Cocktails last week and the rum balls were a hit. Rolled them in different colored sugars: red, green, white, silver and gold. My guests ate them up and renamed them "Jingle Balls." That may be because i added a 1/2 cup of rum instead of 1/4 cup.
