I made this just as it said to. I was dying to try the pappardelle! The flavor was so good! However, I didn't think it needed to cook that long. The meat was a little on the dry side. I will absolutely make this again. My son just loved it!
A couple days later,I made the sausage sammys. I like my sauce a little bit thicker so the only thing I changed was to make a rue first, and then added the sauce and sausage to heat it all up. It was fabulous, fabulous, fabulous! Definitely will put this in the rotation!

I followed the recipe, made no changes and my family loved it. I served it with pappardelle pasta from William-Sonoma and the were a delicious accompaniment.
