I just watched the show and he deglazed the pan with the store bought orange juice and said that he likes store bought orange juice because it's easy but then adds the juice of 2 fresh oranges to zing it up for more fresh orange flavor. So he put all the orange juice in at the time he stated in the recipe with the ginger and sugar to reduce the sauce. I have not made this recipe yet as it just aired today but I bought all the ingredients and cannot wait. I was salivating and know this will be fantastic. I really enjoy watching Roger. He has such a flair and fun electricity and his meals are just what I needed to give a little kick to my repertoire! Thanks!

I'm trying this recipe for the first time, sadly didn't save the episode so I'm going by the recipe. In the Star Anise Orange Sauce, the directions don't say when to use the 2 cups of store bought orange juice! I deglazed the pan with the saved juice of 2 fresh oranges as the recipe indicates ... I hope Roger sees this, or someone from Cooking Channel as this needs to be corrected!
