Terry's Famous Homemade Key Lime Pie

Made from the juice of the Florida Keys' key limes, key lime pie is a no-bake sweet-tart treat whose filling naturally thickens when condensed milk and acidic lime juice react. Fill a store-bought graham cracker crust with the mixture, refrigerate, top with whipped cream, and voila, dessert is ready!

I made 4!!! of these pies last night for my husband's birthday. My husband, as well as all our guests, loved the Key Lime Pie. Would not keep the secret - had to pass out the recipe to everyone. I've already received 3 requests for more of the same. The pie was light, "softly" lime, and so very satisfying. Thanks so much!

Made this pie for my mother-in-law and she loved it, as did I. It was so quick & easy and its a much healthier version bc eggs are not used. She is a key lime pie expert and she loved it.

This recipe is OK for a lite pie but it's not a correct Florida Key Lime Pie. Instead of using the "topping" mixed in with the condensed milk and lime juice use 3-4 egg yolks instead; folded into the lime juice and milk, and poured into a basic ready-made graham cracker crust. (NEVER a flour crust Refrigerate 3-4 hours. I also don't know what key lime pie juice is, but REAL key limes should be squeezed. Very few bottled juices are 100% juice, though they may state that. A dollop of whipped cream MAY be served on top of a slice. NEVER add green food coloring to this pie filling. A Miamian
