I wasn't sure how this would turn out, but it was absolutely delicious! Will definitely be making this one again.

I saw this recipe on tv Sunday and knew I had to make it. And I did. It took me longer than I thought to put the thing together but it was well worth. Yummy!
I went back and read the reviews and noted one person was questioning the amount of bacon and the size dish. I believe the recipe said for intermediate cooks/skill level. Maybe that person just doesn't have the skill needed to estimate the amount of bacon or the size of the pan. I used about 6 slices of bacon cut into pieces and a deep retangler casserole dish. Estimate your taste and the number of ingredients going into this recipe. Practice makes perfect.

My husband love potatoes and loved this dish. The surprise of bacon and the cabbage layered between the creamy potatoes was the best thing he enjoyed in the entire meal. No leftovers here.
