These bars were just what I was looking for -- thick, chewy and paired great with ice cream. I thought the peanut flavor was a tish subtle, but it worked out thanks to lots of chocolate.
I ended up baking them for 33 minutes and the edges were just a little dark (but still delicious and the middle bars were perfect.

Instead of adding 1/2 cup chopped peanuts and 2/3 cup creamy peanut butter, I added a cup of chunky peanut butter. They came out great! They were a little crumbly though it's understandable since it is peanut butter.

Made for a football-watching party, and they were a huge hit. The edge pieces were a little crumbly, and the middle pieces were a bit more chewy, but it was all very peanut buttery and delicious. Peanut butter lovers will definitely enjoy these.
