We set out to achieve the best blend of espresso coffee by constructing a home-made roaster, made from two colanders and a tennis racquet handle that sits comfortably on the barbecue. It's a long shot, but what ensues is an adventure in sawing, welding, spritzing, roasting, brewing, cupping, and tasting session that will convert any non-believer.
