The home cooks raise their Mystery Boxes to reveal a jaw-dropping array of rare and challenging ingredients: a selection of the judges' favourite food culled from their own restaurant kitchens. The home cooks get creative with Durian, Sea Urchin, Squab, and Kimchi. Then in the Elimination Challenge, they must prepare elevated versions of common Canadian bake sale fare.
