Eden Eats: Tampa
Eden is ready to see whom she can meet and what she can eat as she travels the globe via food in Tampa.
Tastes of Tampa
Once a small fishing village, Tampa is now Florida's largest port and the fifth most-diverse city in the nation.
It's 7 a.m., and Eden is on a mission to try as many international foods as she possibly can in a single day.
First Stop: Trinidad
Tampa is home to a Caribbean community of 75,000. Tara Maraj and her sister Doreen run Tara's Roti Shop a casual shack where everything is measured by eye and made by hand.
Eden makes the dough for some Trinidadian street food called doubles.
The Trinidadian sandwich has chickpeas inside and is topped with a cucumber tamarind sauce.
Tampa gets almost one-fourth of its population from Latin countries.
Samira Nabhan and her son Eddie own Café No Bule, which means "This is where things happen" in Portuguese.
Brazil's national dish is a base of black beans filled with smoked ham hocks, fresh pork ribs, bacon, beef brisket, smoked neck bones and sausages.

And there are still four more countries to visit.
Munching in Munich
Werner and Nicholas Seidl are bakers who offer free beer at German Bistro.
Dressed for Oktoberfest
Eden gets dressed up in a traditional dirndl as she takes a strudel to the oven.
A crisp crust covers not-too-sweet apples with a hint of cinnamon.

Tampa has the largest Greek population in the United States.
Eden and Mykonos owner Dimitrios Salivaras show off some fresh local octopus.
After Eden removes the beak ...
... the octopus gets chargrilled to tender perfection.
Dolmades (Stuffed Grape Leaves)
Brined grape leaves are filled with a ground-beef mix.
At 11:30 p.m. Eden heads to Ybor City, once the cigar capital of the world. Tampa is now home to 42,000 Cubans.
The Life in Cuba
After a cigar-rolling lesson, Eden relaxes Cuban-style and enjoys some authentic Cuban cuisine.
Cuban-Style Fried Pork and Yucca
Eden tries deep-flavored and moist meat served with yucca that's creamy on the inside and crispy on the outside.
She is delighted with some delicious rich and nutty Cuban espresso cut with steamed milk.
At 3:30 a.m. the Colombian nightspot El Chuzo BBQ is bustling.
Patacon Con Todo
Chef and owner Jean Montoya teaches Eden how to make a massive platter of chimichurri, plantains, chicken, sausage and pork. It's only half of the meal Eden's about to consume.

This burger -- almost as big as Eden's head -- contains beef, tomato, coleslaw, bacon, five sauces, shoestring potatoes, a pineapple slice and a little bit of lettuce.
