Emmy-Inspired Appetizers and More
Nom, nom, nom. The nominations are in and now it's time to enjoy Sunday's broadcast while munching on our favorite Emmy-inspired bites. While not all entirely practical, they're all certainly delicious. So whether you're rooting for a certain actor or just tuning in to see red carpet fashions, we've got a whole bunch of eats with nods to your favorite shows.

Ah, the infamous slushy on Best Comedy Series nominee, Glee. Did you know they actually use a real slushy machine on set? While we don't recommend tossing these drinks in the faces of your guests, our Orange Sherbert Slushy is a great kid-friendly option and Tyler's Mojito Slushy is perfect for adults.
While a few of the more cliched 60s references on Best Drama Series nominee Mad Men include smoking in front of children, driving sans seat belts and day drinking in the office, the 60s-era food featured on the show is a perfect choice for your Sunday evening dinner party. Serve your guests a tray of Kitschy Canapes or Deviled Eggs. Send gentleman guests to the den after dinner with a Classic Gin Martini.
Best Drama Series nominee Boardwalk Empire's Nucky Thompson may not be dining seaside in Atlantic City but that doesn't mean you can't indulge in all those street food favorites. Try Funnel Cakes, Corn Dogs or Old Fashioned Double Chocolate Fudge.
Best Drama Series nominee Mildred Pierce is one of the more food-friendly series this year since it follows the life of the show's namesake, played by Kate Winslet, as she opens her own fried chicken restaurants. Make a big bucket of Fried Chicken to chow down on during the awards.
During her stay at the White House, Jackie Kennedy favored French food for all of her dinner parties. Take a cue from Outstanding Mini Series Nominee, The Kennedy's, and serve Savoury Swiss Chard Tarts and poppable Gougeres.
If you're a fan of Best Comedy Series nominee, Parks and Recreation, but can't get to the Pawnee Indiana Harvest Festival this year, try your hand a fair favorite: Fried Pickles. Or, start throwing all of your favorite candies in the fryer; Mars Bars work great.
30 Rock's Jack Donaghy: Big night, Lemon? Let me guess, meatball sub, extra bread, bottle of NyQuil, Tivo Top Chef, a little Miss Bonnie Raitt, lights out.
