Potatoes and beer, two German favorites, create a perfect pair in this traditional soup, which is quick and easy to make. Bonus: Oktoberfest begins Sept 22nd, so plan to make this soup the night before and kick it off right.
Combine nutty, earthy farro with kalamata olives and the classic Italian tomato, basil and mozzarella combo. Cook the farro al dente so it doesn't become mushy and it will stay nicely for the next day's lunch.
For this fresh version of a Mexican restaurant favorite, flank steak is marinated in a mixture of citrus and spice, and then grilled up along with peppers and onions. Pack the steak, peppers and onions together and bring along your favorite toppings and tortillas separately.
