According to his Flickr profile, photographer Alan Sailer is "a very, very obscure photographer working in his garage shooting stuff with a pellet rifle and photographing the results with a home built flash."
He should have a great deal more notoriety because his high-speed photos of exploding food (and other objects) are pretty, pretty cool.
