It's National Margarita Day and it's Friday so whether you prefer your cocktail blended or on the rocks, it's definitely time to break out the tequila.

1. Tyler's Ultimate Margarita (pictured above)

Tyler's version of a margarita has it all: lime juice, sugar, orange liqueur, triple sec, tequila and even a splash of beer for good measure. The only other thing you'll need? Great guacamole.

Ellie shares a lighter take on the classic frozen margarita. Get sweetness from frozen diced mango and use fresh lime juice for a cocktail that has 180 calories per serving.

Blend store-bought pomegranate juice with lime, tequila and triple sec for Tyler's fruity take on a classic margarita. Drop fresh pomegranate seeds in the bottom of your glass and pour the drink mix over the top.

Michael Chiarello juices navel oranges, lemons and limes for this refreshing cocktail. Try to look for in season citrus options and adjust the recipe based on what is available. Tangerines, Meyer lemons and key limes are all great flavor options if you can find them.

 5. Heat

Don Julio tequila shared their spicy version of a classic margarita with us in honor of National Margarita Day; use caution with the chipotle powder.

1.25 ounces Don Julio Anejo
1/4-ounce Grand Marnier
1/2-ounce fresh squeezed lime juice
1/4-ounce simple syrup
1/4 tsp. of chipotle chili powder

Build ingredients into a Boston Shaker, then add ice and shake vigorously. Line with a salt and sugar rim and strain over ice in a rocks glass.
