JFK Airport Embraces Inner Foodie by Adding Bevy of Restaurants

We've all been there. You have an hour or two to kill at the airport and you are famished. Your choices are limited to the chain places you see on the highway and the chain places you see at the mall. You end up eating something you regret and then your entire vacation is ruined. Luckily, airlines have been listening to your plaintive cries for help and adding tastier food options. Delta's Terminal 4 at JFK is the latest to hop on this trend (JetBlue's JFK terminal already offers steak, sushi and touch-screen ordering).
Delta's new wing -- expected to open in May -- will play host to a bevy of foodie-approved eateries, including Shake Shack, Blue Smoke, La Brea Bakery and more. All told, these delicious renovations will cost $28 million. But we can't complain about airlines trying to outdo each other's food.
