There are some days where each and every breath you take turns into a yawn. Or a sigh. Or some kind of bizarre hybrid of the two. It's days like those where coffee is not only a nicety, but an absolute necessity in order to get anything done. Luckily, there is now a coffee vending machine that is quite literally activated by your miserable yawns.

Coffee roaster Douwe Egberts has installed a vending machine in the O.R Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg, South Africa that knows when you yawn and rewards you with free java. The machine is equipped with facial recognition software that is programmed to respond to yawns. I'm not sure if disappointed sighs work but if you are ever there on layover you should give it a shot.

America, you need to step up your  game and create awesome coffee-giving technology like this.
