Forget Juice Fasts; Here is an Ice Cream Fast

There are many conflicting views regarding juice fasts, or cleanses. Some people and Netflix documentaries swear by them, saying the fasts give them a new lease on life. Some people, usually doctors of some sort, urge caution, saying that extreme diets very rarely work. Both sides can probably agree that if you replaced the juice with ice cream it would be totally awesome. Well guess what? That's a thing now.

A vegan ice cream shop in Los Angeles is offering a four day ice cream cleanse. You read that right. You eat nothing but ice cream for four whole days. The store, called Kippy's, will ship you twenty pints of delicious cream, then you and your lack of self control do the rest. The creamery claims it is healthy, although being as how the diet provides you with over 800% the daily recommended allowance of saturated fats and over 360 grams of sugar, perhaps that claim is a bit premature. Still, it's twenty pints of ice cream.

The four day 'diet' will set you back $240, so maybe you should just buy twenty pints of Ben & Jerry's.
