Signing up for  MasterChef Canada doesn't look much different than going out for American Idol — hordes of people line up for their chance at the title, holding up signs rooting for themselves and telling the cameras why they should be the next MasterChef.

In an exclusive Web video from Season 2 of the hit show, we see the intense audition process as huge tables of potential chef-testants prepare their dishes for the judges — ranging from bacon-wrapped mac and cheese to blueberry pie — hoping it will be enough to get them into the real competition.
