The best part of this Valentine's Day dessert? It requires only four ingredients: chocolate, butter, eggs and sugar. Tyler Florence's Flourless Chocolate Cake is not for the timid -- it's an intensely rich chocolate experience. Top with confectioners' sugar for a romantic presentation and serve with freshly whipped cream to balance the flavors. Your sweetie will thank you.

Here's how it's done:

Pick a high quality semi-sweet chocolate and melt in a double boiler (or a pot on a pot) with one stick of butter.

Meanwhile, separate nine eggs into whites and yolks. Combine the yolks with one cup of sugar and whisk until light yellow in color. Beat the egg whites until stiff. Combine the yolks and sugar with the melted chocolate and then fold in the egg white. Pour into a buttered springform pan and bake at 350 degrees for about 25 minutes.

The cake will rise in the oven and then settle down once you've let it cool.
