These basting brushes are as easy on the eyes as they are on the stomach.
What You'll Need:
Here's what you'll need for Italian flavors: 2 sprigs of rosemary, sage, marjoram, oregano, thyme and wet kitchen twine
Bundle the sprigs together
Take a couple of sprigs of each herb and bundle them together, making sure the ends are flush.
Wrap with Wet Kitchen Twine
Then take a piece of kitchen twine and wrap it around the end. Make sure to wet the twine in a bowl of water first so that when it won't catch fire on the grill.
Dip In Oil
To use the brush, just dip it into the marinade or oil of your choice.
Brush On Oil
Then, brush the oil or marinade onto your grilled meats and vegetables.
Try it On Bread
Make your own zesty, herbed crostinis by using the herb basting brush on sliced pieces of bread as well.
Use as a Garnish
Once the meat and vegetables are cooked, place the herbs beside your meat or veggies as a fresh garnish.
