Meet Cris Nannarone

Find out more about the host of Best in Chow.

After more than 3,500 live performances as a stand-up comedian, Cris Nannarone is a veteran road warrior. Cris has travelled North America headlining comedy clubs, festivals, conferences, and everything in between.

Cris' style is traditional stand-up, a microphone and an audience (no shiny stuff). He patterns most of his material around his own life, personal experiences, misunderstandings, and mixups, "I exaggerate everything that annoys or confuses me. I don't do much on the opposite sex, they scare me".

Cris has appeared in numerous radio and TV spots, documentaries, TV series and feature films including: 2012 Heartland, 2008 Boot Camp, 2007 Scar,

2007 Im Tal der wilder Rosen, 2004 Call Me: The Rise and Fall of Heidi Fleiss, 2003 Bad Faith, 2002 Tom Stone, 2002 Cover Story, 2000 Honey, I Shrunk the Kids, 1996 The Legend of the Ruby Silver, 1995 Convict Cowboy, 1989 MacGyver, 1989 The Lady Forgets, 1989 Booker.

Cris grew up in an Italian family, full of laughs, passion and lots of great food, "I'm not a great cook, I'm a good orderer - a great eater. I know what I like, and I like what I know. I'll try anything once, ONCE!”.

Now Cris takes on his greatest challenge, the search for each city's best food. Nannarone will leave no plate behind on his quest to find the best burger, taco or pizza in every city.
