Lisa Lillien Bio

Lisa Lillien isn't a nutritionist. She's just hungry.

Lisa considers herself a “foodologist," not because she has a fancy degree, but because she's obsessed with food — how wonderful it is, and how much of it she can eat and still fit into her pants. A typical woman battling the same food issues many women struggle with every day, Lisa has tried the latest fad diets, chomps on low-calorie foods and, of course, orders everything on the side.

Before transforming into "Hungry Girl," Lisa was a respected executive in all forms of entertainment media, including print, online and television. She held positions in new media, development and production at Nickelodeon, TV Land and Warner Bros. Due to the overwhelming response to www.hungry-girl.com, Lisa decided to leave the corporate world in pursuit of more tips and tricks for hungry chicks. And, because she is not only hungry but also very nice, she wants to share them with the world.

In addition to the one million die-hard fans who subscribe to her daily e-mails, Lisa also reaches millions more regularly with weekly columns on WeightWatchers.com and Yahoo!, regular contributions to Redbook magazine and recurring appearances on television. Lisa is a #1 New York Times bestselling author of four cookbooks.

Lisa resides in Los Angeles.
