  • 2 tablespoons canola oil
  • 2 pounds chicken wings
  • 2 teaspoons kosher salt
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup hot sauce
  • 3 tablespoons barbeque spice rub


Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F. Line a sheet pan with parchment paper and brush with the canola oil In a large bowl, combine the wings and salt and mix until the wings are coated. Spread the wings out evenly on the prepared sheet pan. 

Bake until cooked through and the skin is crispy, 20 to 30 minutes. 

In a large bowl, stir together the melted butter and hot sauce. Add the cooked wings and toss until evenly coated. Transfer to a clean bowl, add the spice rub and toss to coat completely. Transfer to a serving tray and serve immediately.
