  • 3 ounces mango juice
  • 2 ounces vodka
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Chai Masala, recipe follows
  • Crushed ice
  • Mango chunks, for garnish
Chai Masala:
  • 1 tablespoon fennel seeds
  • 2 teaspoons green cardamom pods
  • 1 teaspoon whole cloves
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 5 brown cardamom pods
  • One 2-inch piece cinnamon stick


Place the juice, vodka, sugar and Chai Masala into a cocktail shaker with crushed ice. Shake until ice cold, and then strain into a martini glass. 

Thread chunks of mango on a toothpick or cocktail stick and use to garnish the drink.

Chai Masala:

Grind the fennel seeds, green cardamom pods, cloves, ginger, brown cardamom pods and cinnamon stick in an electric spice grinder. Store in an airtight jar.
