Blue Cheese Wedge Salad

Ingredients

1/2 cup blue cheese

1/2 cup mayonnaise

1/4 cup heavy cream

2 tablespoons sour cream

1 tablespoon lemon juice

Salt and pepper

1 head iceberg lettuce, cut into 8 wedges

8 strips bacon, cooked and crumbled, optional

2 tomatoes, diced

3 green onions, chopped

Directions

  1. Blend the blue cheese, mayonnaise, heavy cream, sour cream, lemon juice and some salt and pepper in a blender. 
  2. Arrange the lettuce wedges on a shallow platter and layer with the bacon (if using), tomatoes and onions. Pour the dressing over the salad and serve.
