Bob's Chimichurri Sauce

This chimichurri recipe is from my brother-in-law Bob. He loves to barbecue and this sauce is a perfect accompaniment for pretty much any meat he grills. It is always a big hit! Only word of warning: it's garlicky!

1 cup fresh cilantro, stems on

1 cup Italian parsley leaves

1/2 cup fresh basil leaves

3/4 cup olive oil

1/4 cup rice vinegar

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon hot sauce, such as Tabasco

1/2 teaspoon pepper

4 cloves garlic


  1. Put the cilantro, parsley, basil, olive oil, rice vinegar, salt, hot sauce, pepper and garlic in a blender. Blend until well-combined. Keep in the refrigerator until ready to use. Served with cooked meat.
