Combine the beef, pork, most of the barbecue sauce, the eggs, onions, some salt, black pepper and pimenton. Mix by hand until sticky. Cook a little piece and taste it; add more salt, pepper or pimenton as needed.
Mix in the breadcrumbs a little at a time until firm. Form into a loaf. Brush on the remaining barbecue sauce. Bake in a loaf pan until the internal temperature reaches 145 degrees F, about 35 minutes. Let cool, then slice. Reheat on a hot griddle or in a pan with a little bacon fat. Serve.
