Mint Juleps and Pimm's Cup

Mint Juleps: 

6 to 8 fresh mint sprigs

1 tablespoon simple syrup

Crushed ice

2 1/2 ounces bourbon

Fresh mint sprigs

Pimm's Cup:

1 1/2 ounces Pimm's

1 1/2 ounces Sweet and Sour Mix

Splash of 7-Up Soda

1 slice cucumber (sliced lengthwise)


  1. In a tall glass, add the mint and simple syrup. With the handle of a spoon, crush and mash the leaves to extract the flavors. Fill the glass with the crushed ice and pour in the bourbon. Using a tea spoon, jiggle the contents to mix and chill. Garnish with fresh mint sprigs.

Pimm's Cup:

  1. In a tall glass, fill with crushed ice. Add the Pimm's and sweet and sour mix. Stir to blend thoroughly. Splash with 7-UP and garnish with the slice of cucumber.
