Spicy Peanut Sauce

10 large garlic cloves, peeled

2/3 bunch of fresh coriander leaves and upper stems

1/2 cup unseasoned peanut butter (recipe from above)

1/2 cup plus 1 tablespoon thin soy sauce

1/4 cup sesame oil

5 tablespoons sugar

Dash of Chinese rice wine vinegar

1 tablespoon hot chili oil


  1. In a food processor, combine the first eight ingredients together. Process until smooth. Place in a saucepan and bring up to a simmer. Remove from the heat and set aside.
