Hot Fudge

Hot fudge has many uses: pour it over your favorite ice cream, use it as a dip for fresh fruit or pastries, or drizzle some over a whipped-cream-topped hot beverage.

Ingredients

8 ounces semi-sweet chocolate

2/3 cup sugar

2 tablespoons cocoa powder

Pinch salt 

Directions

  1. Add the chocolate to a medium bowl and set aside.
  2. In a medium saucepan set over medium heat, add 3/4 cup water, the sugar, cocoa and salt. Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally. Remove from the heat and pour the hot liquid over the chocolate. Whisk until smooth and glossy. Serve hot.
